Large-scale study suggests antidepressants do not improve all aspects of depression

The purpose of this landmark study was to address the lack of long-term data relating to the effectiveness of antidepressant treatment, in order to accurately understand the progression of the disease throughout therapy.

Psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES) and psychogenic symptoms in general are common. However they may be termed or classified, they constitute an important part of psychiatry and psychology. The largest professional mental health organizations (American Psychiatric Association and American Psychological Association [APAs]) both have abundant patient education material, but curiously have no information on this entire category of disorders.
